Hi all,
I know it's been awhile since I last posted.
I think it might have something to do with the weather.
But things around the Kingdom have continued on.

Our Castle is getting some much needed changes.
New flooring in the living room and dining room, I know it's about time the rips are getting worse and the carpet color is looking a whole new shade of grey these days.
okay for a few years :} So we will be busy, busy. I hope to be able to share the changes and highlights along the way.

Hi All,

How are you all ?

Are you getting ready for the up and coming holiday?

We are and boy the weather is sure helping to remind us that its a winter wonderland here.

The Hi for today is 14 , BUUUUURRRRR

Last night as we prayed Dar asked God to be with the homeless and that really made me sad to think people are even out in these unbelievable temperatures.
With that said how have you helped the needy? How did it impact your life?
I will try to share our family stories in the next few weeks as we do for others this holiday season

The day and the life of a Queen

It's about 7:30am and the Queen awakes to the sound of birds chirping oh wait that's a baby screaming. Get me up!!

As the Queen gets up she realizes it's time for her pedicure..
Okay it's time to dig out that painful ingrown toenail.. Oh that's better all dug out :(

Then the Chef of the day starts breakfast, (Chef Dario extraordinaire)

O wait the Queen must have her new obsession Peppermint Mocha Twist from the local *bucks..
And one for her King
Okay she's back and breakfast is ready..

Well it's time for the Queen to head off with her mother to the ball
Okay time to go to the candle party..

Well I have just not been as creative as I thought I would be when it came to this blogging thing.. But I wanted to let you all know my mammogram update..
All is good No cancer and they didn't find anything..
Praise the Lord...

A Unexpected Gift !!!

Hi all,

Well I wanted to share about the blessed day I had yesterday and wonder if anyone has a similar story to share.

After taking the boys to school yesterday Quincy begged me to take him outside so I thought to my self okay if I go outside what will I do..hhmmm

And just to let you all know it was the most perfect fall day you could imagine . Anyways I figure maybe it will do me some good to get some exercise so I decide to rake the leaves out front of our house. So I get everything ready and head out. Q and I are really enjoying this time but something is missing oh its music so I run in and put Ella on and let me tell you I think this turned out to be a gift straight from the Lord. Cause it doesn't get any better then listening to Ella and watching nature awaken right in front of your eyes.

As Q and I are out cleaning The birds began to chirp and fly from tree to tree then the squirrels pop there heads out to see what is going on . And the sound of the leaves and the animals just felt so indescribable.

So after the day is done I think to my self boy we have a amazing Creator... And I just want to thank him for giving us this amazing earth to enjoy. With that said I want to share a scripture I think is perfect to do that

Suffering

Hi All,

Well I have really struggled with posting something the past few days. This week was a very emotional week for me. I had a doctors appt on Tues. to have my left breast checked out. For the last month I have noticed this weird indent on my left breast and wondered if it was something to be concerned about. And after my appt. felt even worse as the doctor informed me I need to go get a mammogram since I have a indent and they don't take risks with things like that. And to top it off I have no insurance so the thought of paying for this test overwhelmed me.


So fast forward to Wen when a friend (Sandie) of mine came by and spoke some hard truth into my life. She encouraged me to listen to a CD she received from our church on a message about is your trials and suffering "in the way" or "on the way"..


And of course the pastor shared about suffering produces perseverance;perseverance ,character; and character, hope.. Romans 5:3-5


And I thought to myself okay God I have had just about enough hard ships this year but as I listened I realized If I would just put my trust in him he will work it all out for his good. So as of this moment I am thinking okay God what ever the out come of my test I will know this is only to grow me as I'm "on my way" to be the servant you want me to be. ( He used the story of Joseph and the suffering he went through to become the man God had planned for him to be.)


So with that said I want to encourage all of you that no matter what life may throw at you God will and is there to hold you up. I look forward to sharing the outcome of this trial I'm facing.. God bless
