I want to say thank you to my one and only blog follower.. Sharon thank you for always encouraging me, what a blessing you are to me.  I sure wish i could swing over to your house and enjoy a cup of joe and visit about life and all the journeys God has taken us on...  But until your closer i'll just keep our memories close to my heart..  You will always have a special place in my heart sweet friend.. Just checking in

So I find my self wondering why do i have a blog ??? 
 And I just keep thinking, to have a link for my comments on other blogs. 
So why is it that i think other blogs have so much more to offer, And that i don't...
  Well i do I have a great family, I have a good mind and heart , I'm creative, just like the 

rest of them. it all comes down to a lack of confidence.. 

If there is anyone out there reading this can you give me some pointers on over coming this...

A Change is coming

This year seems to be the year for changes... 
Somethings I'm hoping to change are losing some weight 
how about 40-50 pounds and going to the Y on a regular bases.

Growing in my dependency on God and not people. If I can build up the confidence 
I will post my updates on my weight here on a regular bases. So here is to a new look and insight for 2011. 
Lord help me :)

What does it mean to measure up?
I try to find my place in this big o world and every time I come up short. How does one find there place. If you don't have the look then you need the money and if your a christian then you better have faith to move mountains. If your a mom you better have a routine, if your a wife you better please your husband, if your a friend you will never say anything to offend them.  Boy the pressures are huge. And then I wonder why I struggle with depression.. Hummmmm 
Oh how I hope one day the Lord with give me a content heart with my self and those around me.

This post is so hard for me to write yet so needed... 


As I've said before I look at a lot of blogs and can really get attached okay so  maybe I've never really shared my addiction with blogs . One of those blogs is Life in Grace, by Edie.I found her through another blog I'm sure ( I'm sure it was one sharing about her turquoise kitchen) but from that time I have enjoyed her so much and enjoy her positive outlook on life.  With that said here is why this posted is so hard for me just after Christmas I read a blog sharing about (Edie's) her loss and I kept thinking no way how terrible for someone so blessed to face such a tragedy as this and to my surprise it was true. Then today there was a sneaky post from one of her friends to link to Edie's site and share our story of how Edie has touched our lives. So here is my thoughts to her on her very special day..

Thank you for letting God use you and for all the blessings you give. Hope you are feeling his love and peace today. You are in our prayers and thoughts often..

Aint life grand

Its amazing how from one day to the next things can change.. Kinda like the change of fall leaves. 
One day your vibrant and so alive to the next you are dried up and brittle. What's so amazing is how with every changing stage we can either embrace it or reject it. And today I have decided to embrace it and let the 
changes shape me not define me. Okay that sound so grand yet so challenging. But I am determined to let the roots of God strengthen me and make me who he says I am.. Enjoy the growth of each challenge and success you face it will only make you better the next season. Bring on the snow and frost :)

I have decided I need to get back to this.

Boy this was a funny moment for me so I have to share.
So the photo above was taken after a quick trip to the store for dishwasher soap.
During this shopping trip I seen this bottle of wine and thought oh that has my name all over it.. Once I was home I sat these two things down on my porch table and I seen a great photo moment and had to share what a true homemakers reality is...

A girls dream come true... This past Saturday I headed to my first ever Farm Chicks Show and I must say it was a breath of fresh air for this city slicker.. I have opened my mind and eyes to a whole new adventure...
And I'm hoping to attend more shows like this in the future.

What a wonderful God we have... He knows just what we need...
It is a bright and sunny day here in my neck of the woods, So I took advantage of that and hooked up Q's bike trailer and headed to the park for lunch and some one on one time with my littlest Prince...

Hi blog world is anyone out there?
Well it's been soooooooo long since I last posted.. To long if you ask me.
Anyways I would like to say as of today I'm not going to allow intimidation to control me.
I haven't posted out of straight lack of self esteem.. Like okay why am I doing this whole blog thing I don't have anything to say or at that anything as good as the blogs I look at. But as of today no more. I do have a lot to share and I have a lot to show the world what God has given me. So I'm back and ready to share a glimpse into this Kingdom I live in with the King, and my 3 Princes..

Boy O Boy I now see why flooring people charge sooooo much
It's work.. And time consuming or is it just when you have 3 Princes to care that it feels so overwhelming.. But guess what there is light at the end of the tunnel and I can't wait to share the transformation with you. And my poor husband, I think he feels like he has taken on a 2nd job with no pay, At least right now. Later it will be sooo worth it.

Phase 1 Before

Hi all,
I know it's been awhile since I last posted.
I think it might have something to do with the weather.
But things around the Kingdom have continued on.

Our Castle is getting some much needed changes.
New flooring in the living room and dining room, I know it's about time the rips are getting worse and the carpet color is looking a whole new shade of grey these days.
okay for a few years :} So we will be busy, busy. I hope to be able to share the changes and highlights along the way.

Hi All,

How are you all ?

Are you getting ready for the up and coming holiday?

We are and boy the weather is sure helping to remind us that its a winter wonderland here.

The Hi for today is 14 , BUUUUURRRRR

Last night as we prayed Dar asked God to be with the homeless and that really made me sad to think people are even out in these unbelievable temperatures.
With that said how have you helped the needy? How did it impact your life?
I will try to share our family stories in the next few weeks as we do for others this holiday season

The day and the life of a Queen

It's about 7:30am and the Queen awakes to the sound of birds chirping oh wait that's a baby screaming. Get me up!!

As the Queen gets up she realizes it's time for her pedicure..
Okay it's time to dig out that painful ingrown toenail.. Oh that's better all dug out :(

Then the Chef of the day starts breakfast, (Chef Dario extraordinaire)

O wait the Queen must have her new obsession Peppermint Mocha Twist from the local *bucks..
And one for her King
Okay she's back and breakfast is ready..

Well it's time for the Queen to head off with her mother to the ball
Okay time to go to the candle party..

All is good No cancer and they didn't find anything..
